Conductors must satisfy heating limits: normal, emergency, post-emergency modes.

Ampacity (1.3.10–1.3.21)

3-core copper cable in conduit: 1.5 mm² — 14–19 A; 2.5 mm² — 21–27 A; 4 mm² — 28–38 A; 6 mm² — 36–46 A; 10 mm² — 50–70 A. Open — ~20–30% higher. Aluminium — ~25–30% lower. Ambient correction per table 1.3.3.

Economic density (1.3.22–1.3.33)

Copper 2.0–2.5 A/mm² (table 1.3.36); voltage drop check per 1.3.28.
