Categories (1.2.17–1.2.21)

1.2.17 Category 1: life-threatening consumers — two independent sources, interruption only for ATS time.

1.2.18 Special group: operating theatres, fire pumps, emergency lighting — three independent sources (2 intakes + DG/battery).

1.2.19 Category 2: two sources, interruption for manual transfer time.

1.2.20 Category 3: one source, repair-time interruption.

1.2.21 Residential buildings — no higher than category 2.

Voltages (1.2.22)

127/220/380 V single-phase; 220/380 V three-phase; new networks — 230/400 V.
