Check the cable length
For a 2-room apartment, 250-450 m is normal. If the estimate says 800 m — ask for the calculation by rooms. The exact length is calculated from the plan.
Check brands and series
The estimate must state the brand, series and cross-section: «VVGng-LS 3×2.5» — not just «cable». The difference between «no-name» and Legrand is 2-3 times.
Check work prices
Typical prices: wall chasing 300-600 ₽/m, socket installation from 350 ₽, panel assembly from 5 000 ₽, cable installation 50-100 ₽/m. The estimate must show the quantity and unit.
Hidden positions
Corrugation, clips, dowels, boxes, terminal blocks, DIN rails, comb — check that they are in the estimate. Usually 5-10% of the sum.
Reserve
A reasonable reserve is 10%. If the estimate has 30% reserve for «unforeseen» — ask what exactly.
Acceptance
Sign the estimate before the work with the scheme. GorkyCAD generates both from one model — the numbers match the plan.
