Electrical Installation Design
All GorkyCAD calculations are performed according to the methods outlined in GOST R 50571.1–50571.25. This covers load calculation, cable sizing, voltage drop verification, short-circuit current calculation, and grounding. The program interface automatically applies normative coefficients and checks results against maximum permissible values.
Electrical Equipment for Residential and Public Buildings
Code of Practice SP 256.1325800.2016 governs the design of electrical installations in residential buildings. GorkyCAD automatically applies specific power norms per apartment, demand factors for residential buildings, and rules for socket and lighting circuit placement. All project templates for apartments and houses already contain preset normative parameters.
Electrical Installation Regulations
The Electrical Installation Regulations is the primary normative document for electricians in Russia. GorkyCAD implements: short-circuit current calculation per PUE (Ch. 1.4, 1.7), protective device and cable selection (Ch. 1.3, 3.1), non-ignition verification (Ch. 3.1), grounding device calculation (Ch. 1.7), and automatic power disconnection requirements (Ch. 1.7, § 1.7.79). All PUE formulas are embedded directly into the Rust calculation core.
International Standard for Electrical Installations of Buildings
For international users, GorkyCAD supports IEC 60364 (Low-voltage electrical installations) calculations. The English (EN) and Hindi (HI) interface versions use IEC methodologies for: design load determination (IEC 60364-8-1), cable selection by ampacity (IEC 60364-5-52), overcurrent protection verification (IEC 60364-4-43), and protective device coordination (IEC 60364-5-53).
Quality Management System
Implementation of the ISO 9001:2015 quality management system is scheduled for Q4 2026. This will include formalization of development, testing (currently 4,195+ integration tests), documentation, and user support processes.
