Group 0 — no risk; group 1 — interruption undesirable; group 2 — interruption life-threatening (operating theatres, ICU, delivery).

Shock protection (710.41)

Group 1: 30 mA RCDs on socket circuits. Group 2: medical IT systems with insulation monitoring; supplementary bonding.

Supply (710.5)

Group 2: two independent sources with automatic transfer; emergency lighting ≥ 50%.
