Distribution Panel Builder

An interactive tool for laying out low-voltage distribution panels (DB, MDB, SDB). Allows you to place modular devices on DIN rails, verify enclosure fill ratio, calculate heat dissipation, and generate a bill of materials.

Automatically checks layout compliance with regulatory requirements for spare capacity (minimum 15% free space per PUE/IEC), protective device selectivity, and permissible internal temperature rise.

Features

  • Modular device placement on DIN rails
  • Automatic heat loss calculation inside the enclosure
  • Panel fill ratio control (minimum 15% reserve per standards)
  • Incoming breaker and RCD selection
  • Protective device selectivity verification
  • Single-line diagram generation
  • Bill of materials export to Excel/PDF

Standards

  • IEC 61439 — Low-voltage switchgear and controlgear assemblies
  • GOST R 51321.1 (IEC 60439-1) — LV switchgear assemblies
  • PUE — Russian Electrical Installation Code, Chapter 3.1

Frequently asked questions

How many modules does an RCD take?

A 2-pole RCD takes 2 modules, an RCBO 2 modules, a 1-pole MCB 1 module. A meter takes 2–6 modules.

Which panel for an apartment?

24–36 modules for a typical apartment: 8–12 groups, 2–4 RCDs, meter and 25% spare. For a house — 36–54 modules.

Why keep spare capacity?

25% spare covers future groups — AC units, induction cookers, EV chargers. Replacing a full panel is expensive.

Elektrik panosu boyutlandırma

Modül sayısını ve pano boyutunu hesaplayın: gruplar, kaçak akımlar, sayaç ve yedek.

Ne hesaplar

  • Yedekli toplam modül
  • Pano boyutu: 12/24/36/54/72
  • İkinci pano gerekiyorsa uyarı

Modül kullanımı

1 kutuplu sigorta: 1 modül. Çift kutuplu kaçak akım: 2 modül. RCBO: 2 modül. Sayaç: 2–6 modül.

FAQ

Daire için kaç modül?

24–36 modül: 8–12 grup, 2–4 kaçak akım, sayaç ve yedek.
